As usual, we spent our weekend trying to catch up with some orders and work on new products. We are always trying out new patterns and ideas and are getting closer to where we want to be. Here are a couple of photos of one of the better experiments of the past couple of weeks; a denim tote bag. We have made various bags using various materials in the last couple of years and this is the sum of all of those previous attempts. It is a 14.5oz 'Broken' Twill Denim which we had left over from a couple of other projects. It is finished with some sturdy veg tan handles and hand hammered copper rivets. The bag construction allows for triple stitched seams so this thing is going to be strong. Anyway...more to come on these once our shop is up and running.
